Pisces and Heinen Delfts Blauw are inextricably linked.
The family business has its roots in the fishing village of Spakenburg, where grandfather Heinen was a fisherman on botter BU7. More and more fisheries disappeared and the generation that followed made the switch to Delft blue painting. The fish have always stayed and are still swimming around happily.
